I'm That  Wander Chic!

I'm a wanderer, a tourist and a traveller.

A few years ago, working from 9 to 5 every day and just feeling the need to explore my passions, I decided that it was time to embrace the cliché, quit the job and go travelling.

I left home with this project on my backpack and since then it has become a passion that I'm eager to share.

It all started when I studied Cultural Anthropology, I researched the relationship of the locals in Tepoztlán (Morelos, México) with their cultural and natural heritage used in the Mexican Tourism industry. That study led me to a masters in England where I researched about political tourism in San Cristobal de las Casas (Chiapas, Mexico) to understand the tourist experience in conflict areas.

Back home I was working as a consultant in public policy, promoting youth employment through creative and collaborative projects. When I started to travel I also started to write my own content and became a copywriter, that soon turned me into a Travel Marketing Manager in one of Australias' leading Latin America whole traders. But my itch for knowledge and research changed again my life and now I'm doing a PhD in Melbourne.

But passions never die. I keep travelling when I can and I still create content to share with you. The idea of this Blog is to open up space for people not only to engage and share their experiences about travel but actually make them aware of their role in the industry. I hope this Blog and Podcast will encourage you to see different perspectives of your wanders and wonder a bit more...

You are always welcome to collaborate with the team and I, get in touch through our social media!

Safe Travels!
